2. What Data We Collect
- Personal Data: Name, email address, phone number, etc., provided voluntarily when you register or contact us.
- Usage Data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and cookies collected automatically to improve user experience.
3. Lawful Basis and How We Use Your Data
Under the GDPR, our lawful basis for processing your data is your consent, the performance of a contract, or our legitimate business interests. We use your data to:
- Provide and maintain Oppoz.com.
- Communicate with you regarding updates or support.
- Analyze usage to improve our product.
4. Your GDPR Rights
If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the right to:
- Access, update, or delete the information we have on you.
- Object to or restrict our processing of your personal data.
- Request data portability.
- Withdraw consent at any time.
To exercise these rights, please contact us at hello@oppoz.com.
5. Data Transfers
Your data may be transferred to and maintained on computers located outside of your state or country (including India), where data protection laws may differ. By submitting your data, you consent to this transfer.
6. Our Mobile Games
This section applies to every Android game published by Oppoz on Google Play under the developer account “Oppoz” (package names beginning com.oppoz.). The current list of our games is always the one shown on our Google Play developer page. Where this section differs from the website policy above, this section governs the games.
No account and no sign-in
Our games do not ask you to register, sign in, or provide any personal details. Your progress, garage, coins, records and settings are stored only on your device and are never uploaded to us. Uninstalling a game deletes them.
What our games collect
We do not operate our own game servers. Our games include two Google software development kits — Google AdMob, which serves the advertising that funds them, and Google Analytics for Firebase, which tells us how they are used. Through these, the following is collected and sent to Google:
- Device and advertising identifiers — your Android advertising ID (which you can reset or delete at any time) and an app-instance identifier.
- Approximate location — a coarse, country or region level estimate derived from your IP address. This is not GPS. Our games request no location permission and cannot read your precise position.
- App activity — in-app events such as runs or races started and finished, screens viewed, features used and session length.
- Diagnostics — device model, operating system version, app version, and performance or error information.
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, files, messages, or payment information.
Advertising and purchases
Our games are funded by advertising supplied by Google AdMob, which may appear as banner, interstitial or rewarded video advertising depending on the game. Rewarded video is always optional — you choose whether to watch it, and declining never blocks access to the game.
Where a game offers in-app purchases, they are handled entirely by Google Play Billing. We never receive or store your card, bank or payment details. If a game has no in-app purchases, its Google Play listing will say so.
Why it is collected
- To display advertising, including personalised advertising where you have consented to it.
- To understand how our games are played so we can improve them.
- To detect fraud, invalid traffic and abuse, and to meet legal obligations.
Who it is shared with
This data is shared with Google, acting as our advertising and analytics provider, and with Google's advertising partners for the purposes of serving and measuring ads. We do not sell your data and we do not share it with anyone else.
How Google uses data from apps that use its services is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and in the Google Privacy Policy.
Consent in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, our games show you a consent form before advertising loads. The form is provided by Google's User Messaging Platform, a Google-certified consent management platform. You choose whether to allow personalised advertising. Declining does not restrict your access to the game in any way.
You can withdraw or change your consent at any time by resetting or deleting your advertising ID in your device settings, under Settings → Privacy → Ads.
Your choices and rights
- Reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalisation entirely, in Settings → Privacy → Ads on your Android device.
- Uninstall the game to remove everything it has stored on your device.
- If you are in the EEA or UK, you have the right to access, erase, correct, restrict and object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Because our games hold no account and we store no user records of our own, we are usually unable to identify an individual from the data we receive. To exercise rights over data held by Google, please refer to the Google Privacy Policy linked above.
Children
Our games are not directed at children. Each game's minimum age is shown in its Google Play listing, and none of our games are part of Google Play's Designed for Families programme. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact us and we will act on it.
Retention
We retain no game data ourselves. Advertising and analytics data is retained by Google under its own policies, using the retention period configured on our Google Analytics for Firebase properties.
Security
All data collected by the advertising and analytics components is encrypted in transit using Transport Layer Security (TLS).
